How to get Started With A Virtual Assistant

A virtual assistant will help you save time to do the things that are most important to you.

1. Getting Started

To enable us to understand your business thoroughly, and how it works, we will need to ask several questions, such as the target audience you serve, the products or services you provide, and the systems and processes you have in place. Once we have established how your business operates, we will work together to find out what your average working day looks like. We will look at what causes you the most difficulties, or is the most time consuming, and any other tasks that you either cannot do or would prefer someone else to take over for you. We will then be in the best position to develop a proposal and work with you to decide what plan would best suit you, to achieve your goals, and give you the level of support you need.

2. Formalising the Arrangement

Once you are happy with what we are proposing, you will be assigned a dedicated Virtual Assistant, and we will then put together a customised job description of the tasks that your Virtual Assistant will be completing for you. This will give you both a better understanding of the expectations. We will agree on the monthly plan that best suits, and will then provide you with our Terms and Conditions for signature.

3. Moving Forward

As with all great relationships, excellent communication is vital, and this part of the process is essential, as it is where you will have a full handover with your Virtual Assistant, and the time that a few new things may need to be set up. But don't worry, we will make ensure that everything runs smoothly.

4. Checking In and Keeping on Target

You and your Virtual Assistant will decide on how you want to communicate, and how often. While your Virtual Assistant is highly skilled and very skilled at learning new applications and processes, maintaining communication builds up trust and decreases the risks of mistakes in the initial startup phase. Your Virtual Assistant will track their time through a time tracking tool and will ensure that they keep in touch with you throughout the month to keep you informed of what they have been working on, and the hours that have been used. Our goal is to have you seeing results as quickly as possible so that you can then focus your energies on what you do best.
